The worship of Dhanteras 2026 is celebrated as the worship of Goddess Lakshmi. According to the old beliefs, gold and silver are bought on this day. By buying gold and silver on Dhanteras, Goddess Lakshmi resides in the house. There is an increase in the wealth of the person and the house. Mata Dhanvantari appeared on the day of Dhanteras during the churning of the ocean. Hence this festival is known as Dhanteras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lord Mahavir went into the third and fourth meditation on the day of Dhanteras<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival of Deepawali begins with Dhanteras. Dhanteras is also known as Blessed Teras, Dhyan Teras in Jain sect. According to Jain beliefs, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mahavira\">Lord Mahavir<\/a> was doing detention for the attainment of Nirvana. Then on the day of Dhanteras, the third and fourth had gone into meditation. After this, on the day of Deepawali, Lord Mahavir attained Nirvana i.e. salvation. Therefore, buying utensils on the day of Dhanteras is considered very auspicious. It is very auspicious to buy utensils especially brass, gold. Due to this there is no shortage of money in the house. Mother Dhanvantari had appeared with the nectar urn. Therefore Dhanvantari is also called ayurvad, and the factor of medical medicine. Therefore, worshiping Mother Dhanvantari on this day benefits health and Aishwarya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The law of lighting a lamp in the south direction on the day of Dhanteras<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a law to light a lamp in the south direction on the day of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dhanteras\">Dhanteras<\/a>. Along with Lakshmi, Dhanvantari, Kuber and Yamraj are also worshiped on the day of Dhanteras. Kuber and Yamraj reside in the south direction. And Kubera is considered to be the factor of all kinds of jewellery, property, money, money, gems. That is why Kuber is worshiped on this day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The law of worship of Yamraj is found in the mythological texts. Now we know why Yamraj is worshiped on this day.
