What is Sankashti Chaturthi ?

Strict fasting is observed on this day from sunrise to moonrise of the night. Fruits, tubers and vegetable products can be consumed during this fast. During the fast, many devotees like to eat foods made from sago, potatoes, peanuts. After all, after seeing the moon after moonrise at night, the fast of Sankashti Chaturthi is broken.
